A poem I have been working on as part of my writing course utilising visual aids to generate feelings and expressed through a poem. "Birth of a Child" (Mother and Child Forever) Mesmerized by what I've become, Out of my womb - you arrived, Torrent of emotion washing over me, Heart bursting, I've never felt love like this before, Everlasting feelings instantaneously, Reality checks in, you are perfection, A moment in time, life forever changed, Never to be the same again. Daughter, I see you, an angel of my eyes, Counting your fingers, counting your toes, Holding you close to my heart, Inhaling your scent, a promise of new life. Locked eyes with you, instant bond, Dedicated for all eternity, Friends, forever we will be, Over the moon and beyond in love, Revered to be on my pedestal, Everlasting memories of you and me, Virtue building strength to strength, Every day and every night together we will be, Return to one for all galaxies. by T.
