"Happiness is a sense of well-being, joy, or contentment when people are successful, or safe, or lucky, they feel happiness"
Term happiness is used in the context of mental or emotional states, including positive or pleasant emotions ranging from contentment to intense joy. It is also used in the context of life satisfaction, subjective well-being, flourishing and well-being.
The seven (7) simple keys to happiness:
- Stop looking for happiness and start living it
- Live in the 'now' to be happy
- Learn to be grateful to be happy
- Exercise to be happy
- Help others and be generous to be happy
- Smile or laugh out loud to be happy
- Surround yourself with positive people
In light of the above analogies, happiness can be interpreted by many facets based on people's perspective and what makes them happy.
Happiness is in our own hands and if we rely on others to aid us to our happiness, we will fail dismally.
So the question beckons to be asked:
"What determines our own happiness and how do we maintain it?"
Though at times we don't feel happy, our situations we find ourselves in can play a pivotal role in our mindset. If we endeavour to keep our chin up, hold our head up high, we are able to get through any situation life may through at us.
For every experience we are given, we are learning and growing so therefore if we look within we definitely have the ability to prosper and be Happy!
